The Iris Online ordering system has been designed with twin considerations - ease of use and speed. You can order your lenses online, by fax, phone or mail. In any case, here's what to do:

1. Click on products.

2. On the products page, select the type of lens you wear (daily, monthly, etc.) - or simply select your brand from the product list at the foot of the page.

   If you have trouble finding your brand, or if you wear own-brand lenses (from Specsavers, Boots etc.), please contact us for help.

3. Once you have found your lenses, click on 'click for details' (this applies whether or not you wish to purchase online).

4. Enter the amount of lenses you require and click on 'add to basket'.

   - If you require contact lens solution, click on the solutions link and choose your solution in exactly the same way in which you chose your lenses.

   - If you require guaranteed next day delivery by 1pm the following working day, click on 'add express delivery'. If your lenses are not in stock, you'll get them the day after we do (we generally receive lenses from their manufacturer the next working day).

5. Once you're satisfied with the contents of your basket, click on 'checkout'.

6. On the 'checkout' page enter your details as prompted. You must either fax us a copy of your current contact lens specification or fill in your optician's details. As per the 1989 Opticians Act, you should have been given a copy of your contact lens specification after your consultation. If not, you can request a copy to be either faxed or posted to you. A contact lens specification is valid for one year, so please ensure yours is less than 12 months old. Once received, we will hold it on our system and continue to supply your lenses until it expires.

   Your delivery address is important: as all orders require a signature on receipt, you may like to give your work address as your delivery address.

   'Iris checkout' is a secure page: it is encrypted (via a Thawte SSL Certificate) and cannot be viewed by anyone other than yourself.

   You can also place your order by phone with pleasure: our freephone number is 08000 CONTACTS (08000 2668 2287), or our direct line is 020 7407 7951. Lines are open 9.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday.

7. Finally, click 'submit order'. If you gave us your email address, you'll immediately receive an email confirming your order. If your lenses are in stock (90% of which are) they'll be dispatched the same day.
